The killing of two people rocked the Middleburg community early on Monday morning after the authorities said a 14 -year -old boy shot and killed his parents during a home dispute.

The Clay County office responded to the area after noon following a 911 phone from the boy, identified as Trevor Lee.

Trevor Lee surrendered to the police

Sheriff Michelle Cook said Lee phoned the authorities to report that he shot his parents and was surrendering himself to the local church.

According to Global News, the boy told the 911 waiter that he threw his wallet from him, pulled out his pockets and was waiting for the “center” police of the church.

When he asked the waiter to pray for him, the waiter replied, “I will surely pray for you, my son.” The officers quickly found him and took him to custody without an incident.

Police fled to the family’s residence and discovered the bodies of 44 -year -old David Lee and 45 -year -old Brandi Smith into the house.

They both had been seriously injured by the shooting. Preliminary investigations show that the shooting was caused by a dispute between the boy and his parents on Sunday night.

What is Trevor Lee charged with?

Sheriff Cook told the media that the weapon used belonged to the family and was left at the scene, as reported by USA Today.

“There is no more threat to society,” Sheriff Cook confirmed during a morning meeting with reporters. “We want to give our sincere condolences to family, friends, and all those who have been touched by this sad event.”

Authority now focuses on the history of Trevor Lee, including its mental health and school records, as they strive to integrate what has caused such a serious controversy.

He has been charged with two counts of second -grade murder. Sheriff Cook urged anyone who had information that could help the investigation to contact the Clay County office.

Investigations are still ongoing as the community mourns the deaths of two people in what officials call it one of the most sad cases they have faced.

In another case of domestic violence, Edward Kateule is alleged to have been killed by his wife and brother -in -law.

Abigail Namwelu, 44, and his brother, Mutale Alex, attacked the 69 -year -old last night and ended his life.

According to police reports, the fatal attack took place between the night of August 3 and the morning of August 4.

The brutal attack, which is believed to be fueled by alcohol and anger, left the body of blood with blood and broken into their home.
