Popular preacher Bishop Gilbert Deya was buried on Saturday, August 2, at his home there BondoSiaya County.

The preacher died in a road accident on the Kisumu-Bondo highway on June 17.
A group of riot men sparked violence at his funeral by invading the catering and demanding food vigorously.
As posted in the video, the group was rebuked and threatened with severe results if they were stubborn.
In the video, one coordinator climbed onto the platform when Deya’s wife was making condolences and intervened, requesting a microphone to address the men.

According to the organizer, the group had threatened to shoot stones.
He urged them to be patient and wait for the schedule to end, as there was enough food for everyone.
He also reminded him that the police were present at the event, meaning that they could be arrested if they did not stop the riots.
“Listen, we have police officers and we have guards. I would like to ask them, the people of Bondo. I have heard there are people going there and they want them to be given food vigorously.
“I know we have police and civilian officers, if you try to distract you will be arrested.
