Daniel Masimba, in an interview with Kisii TV, narrated how his wife, Evelyne Moraa, allegedly turned their children against her, and together, they were physically and emotionally attacked.

Masimba revealed that he and Evelyne had been married for several years and had 13 children.
However, due to financial and home challenges, their six children were taken by the government and placed them in the orphanage.

“The state children’s office saw that we could not take good care of all 13 children. We were even arrested for negligence but later released,” He said.
He added that his marriage has had problems for a long time and overcame.
Over time the situation worsened and caused a lot of violence in which his wife and some of their children struck and slapped her genitals.
“I was seriously injured and I can no longer bear children. It was the chief who was rushed to the hospital. I really don’t even know how we could have our last three children,” Masimba said.
According to him, his inability to act as a man caused an emotional distance in their marriage, saying, “We were like two women in the house.”

Did Evelyne Moraa get married to a neighbor?
Despite the tensions, the couple continued to live together, struggling to raise their children.
However, Masimba claimed Evelyne finally began to delay and eventually move and live with one of their neighbors.
“Evelyne continued. Her boyfriend is a man from this village. People see them drinking alcohol and playing together in local bars,” He claimed.
A sad father of 13 children said he would have just thought of reuniting with Evelyne if the hospital would bring back his manhood.
“I can just forgive him and keep living with him if I know for sure there is a hospital that can fix me. Otherwise, what do we do together?” He set.
Mary Kemunto, the older sister of the Masimba, said the source of the couple’s problems was alcohol abuse.
According to her, every time Evelyne had money, she despised her husband and at times he chased her to sleep on the banana field.

What did the Kisii woman say after leaving her husband?
In her defense, Evelyne denied her husband’s claims, saying their problems began when she began to secretly sell part of their family land.
“Daniel doesn’t even have an identity. So there is no clear agreement with people who buy land from him, and we always end up in trouble,” He said.
She added that her husband was easily persuaded by friends, who gave him bad advice and stirred up conflict in their home.
Evelyne denied allegations that she was married to their neighbor, explaining that her age and the number of children made her difficult to find a sincere fiancé.

However, he said he and Masimba kept in touch but often quarreled every time he started drinking.

TUKO.co.ke spoke to Jedida Wafula, a psychologist, who said that it was not good to involve children in their parents’ affairs.
He explained that fighting and frequent conflicts between married couples that increase and become a confrontation of physical or emotional violence in front of, or involving, their children cause serious damage.
“It may be difficult for this man to forgive his children, but he has no choice since these are his blood. Children can also grow up believing that abuse is the way to solve marriage issues,” He said.
Wafula noted that counseling for couples and their children would be appropriate to try to get rid of the trauma and the fear brought.
