On Monday, July 21, one video spread rapidly showing Kimani Ichung’wah using foul language and inappropriate allegations against Rev. Dorcas Gachagua, the wife of the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

What did Kimani Ichung’wah say about Pastor Dorcas?

In the video, Ichung’wah dismissed the “Wantam” statement, referring to it as a common home saying, claiming that Gachagua puts more politics first than his relationship with his wife, Pastor Dorcas.

The Kikuyu MP, while speaking at the Kajiado Central Empowerment event, said Gachagua’s marriage may also be one term (“One Term”).

However, Ichung’wah’s statements about Gachagua’s marriage sparked a lot of anger on the internet, many referring to them as humiliating and disrespectful.

Why Moses Kuria Did he criticize Kimani Ichung’wah?

Former Minister of Commerce, Moses Kuria, made a statement via X (formerly Twitter), strongly condemning Ichung’wah’s statements.

In his message, Kuria said that Ichung’wah came out to a great extent by involving Pastor Dorcas in a political crisis involving her husband.

According to Kuria, families should not be included in politics, especially since the 2027 elections can be fierce competition and violence.
