The funeral took place on Friday, July 11, in his home village in Murang’a County and pulling a large crowd, including family, friends, activists and politicians.

At one point, Kiengei, who led the event, began singing to calm the worried crowd, and eventually bring peace.

“Boniface was a story that was supposed to be, although it was shortened by police from his country, how sad we lost a 22 -year -old boy who worked hard to send something home.

Kiengei expressed his hope that Kenyans would not lose other youthful life.

“Kenya is enough for all of us, live in peace and harmony. Rest well, Bonnie,” He wrote.

Sad incidents were witnessed as other mourners with the Kenyan flag crying bitterly.

Ruto protesters singing at Boniface Kariuki’s funeral

Other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that anxiety increased during Boniface’s funeral when Gen Z mourners carried his coffin to the grave, singing songs such as “Ruto Must Go!” and “Wantam.”

A crowd of intense, sad and contemptuous people surrounded the grave with a white coffin covered by the Kenyan flag being carefully laid to be buried.

The time of fear occurred when the coffin seemed to be closed, but the carriers succeeded in stopping it.

Political leaders stood near the silence, seemingly moving but chose not to intervene.

As the songs went on as some mourners scream, efforts were made to prevent people from falling into the grave.
