Okiya Omtatah says he rejected KSh 10m from the government to support Gachaka’s resignation

The Busia Senator claims that the senators were paid last October to sue him Rigathi Gachagua From the office of the Deputy President.

The senator revealed that money was raised to charges to achieve success.

According to Omtatah, MPs in the top council were given KSh 10 million each to support the campaign against Gachagua.

“There was a lot of money made during the removal of Rigathi Gachagua. They were giving KSh 10 million to every Senator, and that is the truth. Kenyans should know that there is no parliament as it is interrupted by the leadership,” Omtatah said.

At the same time, the senator argued that the move was illegal as it was not recognized by the Constitution.

Omtatah said that Gachagua had to be prosecuted if he actually committed any crime, stating that his removal was incorrectly supported by the constitutional aspect of the President.

There was no clause allowing the deputy president, he said.

“I protested the argument of the resignation and I voted no for all 11 charges charged in Gachagua. We used the wrong law to sue him. Abuse to a person, ” Omtatah

Omtatah spoke on Friday, July 11, in Murang’a County, while sending a message to Boniface Kariuki, a musk vendor shot by police during The procession In Nairobi.

The funeral witnessed the attendance of prominent politicians from the opposition, led by a wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

In their speeches, the politicians continued the attack on the presidential administration William Rutowho criticized for designing arbitrary killings.

They held their call to Ruto to resign for allegedly ruled the country.

The leaders vowed to push for the right of the deceased to take place on his behalf.

“We are very angry with the murder of Boniface, as a people in Murang’a and Mount Kenya. We claim justice to Boniface Kariuki. The government must be held accountable for Boniface’s death.
