Siaya: A man who has been paralyzed for 7 years asks for KSh 450K to undergo surgery to save lives

The father of three children from Siaya County is requesting assistance to donate KSh 450,000 for spinal cord surgery.

Erick Odhiambo Suji told TUKO.co.ke that he had stopped in 2018, despite having no accident or any physical injury.

“I had severe headaches that lasted all day. I slept still feeling bad, and when I woke up, I couldn’t move my body from the waist to the ground. He said.

What happened to Erick Odhiambo?

Suji explained that doctors told him he was likely to have suffered a wound in the previous years, which was later manifested.

He participated that he had spent many years in and out of the hospital through physical therapy, and even tried alternative treatment, but without limited improvement.

“The doctors suggested surgery to repair the spinal cord because my condition hasn’t changed. I even tried traditional medicine, but I still can’t walk,” He said.

So far he is in a lifetime with a home -made traveler that helps him stand or move slightly.

Where will the spinal surgery take place?

The father of three said the surgery was scheduled to be performed at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Odinga (Jootrh) Hospital in the county Kisumu.

Due to his condition, Suji cannot work and serve his family as he has ever done.

“I live by the grace of God. It is not easy, but I hope surgery will give me a new life,” He said.

The total cost of the procedure is KSh 450,000, the amount that Suji says he cannot collect alone. He now calls on good and well -intentioned Kenyans to support him.

UON student will seek help to get KSh 61k fees

Other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a 24 -year -old student from the University of Nairobi asked for help to get KSh 61,400 for the school fees.

Stephen Okoth said he is currently on vacation and chose not to return to his village Homa Bay so he can worry in Nairobi to save money and accommodation.

Stephen asked for financial assistance or work position in any field to help him meet his needs, even at school.
