This is after the famous city attorney, Danstan OmariOfficial announcement to stop representing Police Constable James Mukhwana.
This shocking revelation was made before Judge Diana Rachael Kavedza in the Kibra court.

He explained that his ongoing participation in the case was on behalf of the Talaam alone.
“Since then, we are no longer representing the second request caller, namely Mr Mukhwana. We will be asking the court, if he has not sought another attorney, be removed in this case as a petitioner. Yes, we ask the second request caller to be canceled as a petitioner in this case. Omari presented.
The case refers to a judicial investigation request filed by Talaam by Mukhwana following Ojwang’s death in the hands of police.
Talaam, who is facing murder charges in connection with the incident, headed for the Supreme Court demanding that the matter be dealt with through a court investigation instead of a full criminal case.
According to Talaam, a court investigation would have achieved justice by exposing the facts of the incident through a free and transparent court process.
He claims that the current efforts to release charges are based on early conclusions and incomplete evidence.
However, now that Mukhwana does not have an attorney, all eyes are directed to the divorce as the only request for the request to push for the investigation.

Why did Omari ask for more time?
During the sessions, Omari also requested more time to consult with his remaining client, explaining that there had been significant changes in the case direction.
He told Judge Kavedza that their previous request was outdated.
“Sir, due to the change in the situation, we request that this case be mentioned on Friday. He said.
The judge accepted the request, saying that the changes that occurred should be given time to evaluate and reorganize the strategy.
He ordered the case to be mentioned again on Friday, July 4, at noon for more direction.

What were Albert Ojwang’s last words for his wife?
Elsewhere, during the Ojwang memorial service on Wednesday, July 2, at the Ridgeways Baptist church, Nevnina Onyango gave a sad condolences that left many in tears.
He narrated how he met Ojwang in 2021 through a joint friend from the University of the Coast, saying their relationship started with simple talks and later became a deep love.
Nevnina remembered their last conversation after the arrest, in which Ojwang expressed her love and asked her to remain strong for their son.
