What happened to Albert Ojwang ‘?

Ojwang’s death is besieged by controversy and increased public outrage.

He died in a controversial environment after being detained by police for allegedly spreading false information about deputy police inspector General Eliud Lagat.

Earlier reports from police claimed that Ojwang ‘seriously injured himself by knocking his head on his cell wall.

However, a post -corpse examination gave a different and confusing image, revealing that he died from a traumatic trauma.

His body also had many wounds associated with signs of suffering.

Contrary to police reports, officers had claimed that they had rushed Ojwang ‘to Mbagathi hospital after he found him unconscious in his cell.

However, CCTV photos later emerged showing that he was already lifeless when he arrived at the hospital. This was later confirmed by leaked hospital documents.

As pressure increased, OCS of the Police Station Samson Taalam, along with other police officers and civilians linked to allegations of murder, were arrested and taken to court.

Investigations are underway, and families, as well as justice organizations, continue to demand full responsibility for Ojwang’s death.

Was Ojwang’s family stolen KSh 500K?

Earlier, Ojwang’s uncle, Polycarp Odhiambo, revealed that the family had been defrauded of money donated by good people to support funeral costs.

He said Father Ojwang ‘had tried to make the money but faced problems due to lack of identification.

When they sought help from Safaricomthe family was deeply saddened to know that more than KSh 500,000 had already been issued without their consent.
