Kiambu: Peter Kawanjiru, a youth leader who joined the Democratic Party for the Citizens’ Party (DCP), is currently under police protection following his rapid arrest.

Kawanjiru, a prominent promoter from the countryside and a strong supporter of the former deputy president Rigathi Gachaguait is said that he was taken from his home in Limuru under incomprehensible conditions.
How was Peter Kawanjiru taken?
His family accused officials of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) of the home -based entry, destroying property, and causing panic in the area.

Kawanjiru and Thiga are praised for carrying out important roles in youth mobilization and political messages within Kiambu and surrounding regions.
Their arrests have drawn national emotions, thus exacerbating fears despite increasing concerns over the loss, unlawful measures by law enforcement agencies, and increased political tensions.
The two have been left in the Ruiru police station as police are preparing to present them to court. However, the authorities have not yet exposed the specific charges they will face.
