The boy, who is studying in Kakamega County, is seeking financial help to pay off the debt before returning to school.
She is a student who is doing well in school, as she scored 403 marks in the National Eighth Class Exam (KCPE), which enabled her to join a good high school.
“Today he had to go back to school, but he did not return because he does not have KSh 14,000 of the second term – and he also owes KSh 49,000,” lread one post on Facebook.

In another statement, a good Samaritan emerged and paid a student’s fee from Kericho County who would almost miss his final exams.
The girl from Kilgoris, Narok County, had been dismissed from the exam room due to a debt of KSh 125,850.
