According to families, Pathologists refused to perform corpse surgery due to security concerns.

“We came here one day, we were told that the surgery of our loved ones would be done on Wednesday,” One woman said.

Families said they sought more information from the independent authority to oversee the police performance (IPOA).

IPOA told the family that corpse surgery had to be done to fully identify the cause of death. The statement left the family on the sidewalk, not knowing what to do.

“They said they were waiting for IPOA to complete the files of those who died in protest. When IPOA officials arrived, they confirmed that they knew our baby’s body had to undergo surgery today. My question is, why are they bothering civilians?” Surprised one of the victims’ brother.

The state doctor refused to conduct an examination of Albert Ojwang’s body

This comes a few days after government doctor Johansen Oduor refusal to perform surgery of blogger Albert Ojwang ‘.

After Oduor’s decision, the corpse examination was postponed until Tuesday, June 10.

The media report denied a police statement claiming that Ojwang ‘had hit several times on the cell walls, which led to his death.

Media explained that Ojwang’s injuries were attacked. He added that the samples were taken from the blogger’s body for further investigation.

Media said that Ojwang’s body ‘showed signs of combat, and had various injuries, including the hands and chest.
