Ugandan music star Bebe Cool has landed in Nairobi to begin a highly anticipated six-day media tour that is expected to reintroduce him to Kenyan audiences and establish stronger ties within the region’s entertainment circles.
The award-winning artiste, who was accompanied by his wife, Zuena Kirema, received a warm welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where the couple was greeted with flowers and a waiting fleet of escort vehicles.

In a moment that quickly caught the attention of fans and photographers alike, Bebe Cool was seen opening the car door for Zuena, drawing admiration for his gesture of chivalry and affection.
The media tour, which officially kicks off today, July 1, 2025, will see the Ugandan icon make appearances across several leading Kenyan media platforms, engaging with both fans and key industry players.
One of the highlights of the visit will be a sit-down with renowned media personality Anyiko Owoko, who will also be working closely with Bebe Cool during the tour in the capacity of his manager.
The six-day programme, which will end on July 6, 2025, is expected to feature a series of interviews, television and radio appearances, as well as behind-the-scenes content aimed at reconnecting Bebe Cool with his Kenyan fan base, while also introducing new audiences to his music and brand.
This visit marks one of Bebe Cool’s most coordinated media efforts in Kenya in recent years, signalling a renewed interest in cross-border collaborations and strategic media positioning.
The Ugandan star, known for his decades-long career and chart-topping hits like ‘Love You Every Day’, is also expected to meet industry stakeholders and possibly hint at new musical projects or partnerships during the tour.
According to a post he made on his Instagram page, the Nairobi tour is part of a larger international itinerary that will see him visit several countries across the continent.

He noted that the international campaign is beginning in Kenya, a country he holds in high regard and one where he has placed immense hopes, before proceeding to other regions.
The international tour is titled BreakTheChains and is expected to feature stops in several African countries, positioning Bebe Cool as a voice for a renewed cultural wave across the continent.
“The first stop is Nairobi. We kick off the BreakTheChains international media tour in style – July 1st to 6th, 2025. New sound. New fire. New Africa,” Bebe Cool wrote on Instagram.
