“Our investigations have shown amazing incidents. Government infrastructure has been damaged, several guns were stolen and police equipment lost, and some of those weapons were used in theft,” He said.

3. Nation today

The national newspaper today reported on complex politics of the South Suba region, where the Minister of the National Treasury, John Mbadihe is in the midst of tension.

Mbadi faces criticism from local politicians who claim to help his wife, Rhoda Mbadi, to run for parliament in 2027.

Initially, Mbadi had indicated that he would run for South South Suba in 2027, but changed his position after being appointed Minister.

Rhoda has been representing her husband in tragedy and public meetings in the area.

Mbadi defended himself saying he was sending his wife out of many national responsibilities, and that he did not expect to push for the South South MP’s election.

Mbadi was quoted as saying:

“He talks regularly with the President William Ruto and senior government officials. I don’t have much time to be with our residents. We do social work with Nyasembo (Rhoda), and sending him does not mean he wants parliament. I am not a person to keep my family in power. ”
