Boniface Kariuki family answers Charles Owino
During a session with the media at Kenyatta Hospital to confirm the death of their son, the deceased’s family could not restrain from responding to Owino.
Boniface family spokesman Emily Wanjira wondered why Owino would make such a claim to try to justify the death of their loved one.
He said it was not the right way to deal with the issue, as their boy was selling only the barn and he was not even involved in the protest.
“I also heard a former police spokesman said, please, that’s not a good way. Our young boy was selling, he was not in protest. He was nowhere near the protest, he was just struggling to make a living for his life with his father. He said sadly.
Emily added that the family has no way of paying the hospital bills and they hoped that Kenyans would come out to help them pay off the debt.

“No one can live after being shot in almost such a shooting, the doctors struggled. May God give this family strength, and Boniface’s spirit rest in eternal peace. Thoughts and prayers.”

“The government should pay all the costs.”

“You kill an innocent person, and then you leave his family with the burden not only to lose their loved one, but also a huge burden of cost. Curses accumulate.”

“Now you will understand how the system of justice is rotten, a case like this can take 2-3 years but the evidence is clear even to the judge himself!
