Murkomen claimed that Larry reports Kenyan issues with a negative attitude.

Larry Madowo Celebrate with protesters

Larry seemed to enjoy reporting on Wednesday, June 25, and was cheered by the protesters.

Many protesters surrounded him, jumping up and singing his name.

“Thank you for love … I haven’t lost my phone or anything here for this crowd. Even my airpods are still in the ears,” He wrote on X network (formerly Twitter).

It should be noted that this is not the first time Minister Murkomen publicly criticized Larry.

In April 2024, Murkomen, the former Minister of Transport at the time, criticized Larry for exposing leaking roofs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Larry Madowo saves protesters who were surrounded on a narrow path

On Wednesday, June 26, Larry intervened to rescue protesters surrounded by police officers in central Nairobi.

The protesters, who were stuck on a narrow lane, complained that the police had beaten and tearched the gas.

Larry then moved to a nearby area where police had forced people, including security guards, kneeling. He expressed his concern about the unsafe environment in which the people had been placed.

In questioning the reason for arresting uniform guards, Larry was approached by a protester who asked him not to leave them, for fear of their safety.

In response, the journalist encouraged protesters to leave the area for their safety.
