Kipyegon failed to finish in less than four minutes in a one-mile race, finishing 4: 06.42 in front of a happy crowd at Stade Sébastien-Charléty in Paris, France.

Kipyegon lowered his personal quality, which is a world record, but to go less than four seconds it seemed like a drop.

The tired Kipyegon fell on the finish line before her husband, Timothy Kitum, came near her to congratulate her.

What seemed like the first feeling of disappointment turned into a smile when Kipyegon stood up, she hugged her husband warmly and thanked the hearts.

Kipyegon with a smile later gave the field honor.

Who is Faith Kipyegon’s husband?

Timothy Kitum, a former athlete himself, was born on November 20, 1994, in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

During his flight days, Kitum competed in the men’s 800 meters. His main point was to win a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics in London, where David Ruduma set a world record that is still up to date.

Kitum ran for 1: 42.53, becoming the winner of the minimum medal of 800 meters at the age of 17.

How did Faith Kipyegon and her husband meet?

Initially Kipyegon praised her husband for being a supporter when he captured the world. The mother of one child revealed that she met her future husband at the London Olympics.

“My husband has been very supportive of me. He has been supporting me all the time since we met. He was also the Olympic son, you know, after the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He said at the Talk Engage.

Speaking after the race, Kipyegon was left hoping that one day, one would run in less than four minutes.

“I feel good, I’ve tried. I came here to try and be the first woman to run a mile in less than four minutes, and I have proved that it is possible today, and it’s just a matter of time. It will come through us … if not me, it will be someone else,” He told Nike.

In an related report, Alexis Ohanian promised to pay Faith Kipyegon if he broke the world record in his mile attempt.

Ohanian, Reddit’s co -founder and 23 -time winner of Grand Slam Serena Williams, has been passionate about women’s games.

He started Athlos NYC last year, where Kipyegon won the women’s 1500 meters and got more than Ksh 7 million.
