Nairobi: Protesters blow up the Liberty Park on Kenyatta Road for a courageous exhibition of rebellion.
A video circulated by Citizen television showed the statues in the middle of Kenyatta Road, sparking a rage and unaware of the city.
The statues, representing members of the prominent Big Five in Kenya, including lions, buffaloes, and elephants, stood skillfully on a busy road as protesters singing songs near them.
The symbolic act undermined traffic congestion and pulled several people watching, while police officers set off, looking quietly from the nearby intersection.
Videos circulating on social networks show that the statues are being released from their normal resting place in the park of Uhuru Park and flown on the road amid excitement.
