KUCCPS opens applications for KMTC September 2025 intake

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened its online application system for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September 2025 intake.

In a public notice shared on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, KUCCPS announced that prospective students can now submit their applications for various medical courses.

The placement body has urged all interested candidates to visit its student portal at students.kuccps.net and complete the application process before the deadline.

The application window opened on Monday, June 23, 2025, and will close on July 7, 2025.

KUCCPS has asked applicants to carefully review the available courses and ensure they meet the required qualifications before applying.

The process is open to students who wish to pursue either diploma or certificate programmes at KMTC campuses across the country.

Courses available

A wide range of courses is available in this intake. Some of the diploma programmes include:

Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery

Diploma in Pharmacy

Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine

Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology

Diploma in Occupational Therapy

Diploma in Community Oral Health

Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing and Midwifery

Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology

Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy

Certificate courses being offered include:

Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing

Certificate in Medical Engineering

Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician

Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics

All these programmes are designed to equip learners with the practical skills needed in Kenya’s growing healthcare sector.

Applicants are advised to apply early to avoid the last-minute rush. KUCCPS also reminds candidates to use only the official website and not to rely on third-party agents who may charge unnecessary fees or give false information.
