“I urge all Kenyans and residents of Nairobi to reject violence and criminal behavior when they enter the streets next week. I have spoken to a police order to assure protesters that they will be protected when they give their rights,” he added.
Sakaja emphasized that his officers would be forced to protect life and property during the planned protest.
“Everyone should respect the law. Violence, violence and chaos are not signs of democracy, and there will be no such thing to go forward. We will protect our city and the country we love in accordance with the law,” He warned.

How the leaders criticized Johnson Sakaja
In connection with that, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale accused the Nairobi governor of exploiting dangerous youths to hamper peaceful protests.
Speaking on Saturday, June 21, Khalwale claimed Sakaja allegedly inspired young people from the informal settlement of KawangwareKibra, and Mathare, giving them raw weapons such as clubs and knives.
Khalwale’s statement comes after several teenagers were hired to contribute to chaos during protests in Nairobi, where businesses were looted by peace protesters.
The senator also narrated the recent incident of a bully fight in which children were heard singing that the government was failing.
