Kenyan YouTuber Robert Ndwiga, widely known as Thee Pluto, has cautioned couples against using intimate photos or harsh words in online post-breakup.
Drawing from the high-profile split between digital content creators Mulamwah and Ruth K that saw them embroiled in an online spat, Thee Pluto issued a stern warning to young, famous couples.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Thursday night, June 19, 2025, the YouTuber advised that when young, famous couples go through a breakup, especially if they’re exchanging harsh words or intimate pictures online, they should pause and think before reacting publicly.
He pointed out that fame amplifies mistakes, and what is shared in anger can harm one’s reputation, career, and personal growth.
“For young, famous couples going through a breakup, especially those exchanging harsh words or intimate pictures online, it is crucial to pause and think before reacting publicly. Fame magnifies mistakes, and what you share in anger can damage your reputation, career and personal growth,” Thee Pluto warned.

In addition, Thee Pluto warned that leaking private content is not just a betrayal of trust but could also be illegal.
He emphasised that no matter how painful a breakup might be, handling it with maturity safeguards one’s brand, future, and personal peace.
The YouTuber suggested setting boundaries, talking privately with trusted friends or professionals, and remembering that silence and respect often speak louder than online drama. Ultimately, he urged choosing character over clout, saying that one’s future self will appreciate that decision.
“Leaking private content is not only a betrayal of trust but could also be illegal. No matter how painful the split, handling it with maturity protects your brand, your future and your peace. Set boundaries, talk to trusted friends or professionals privately, and remember that silence and respect often speak louder than online drama. Choose character over clout, your future self will thank you,” he added.

Celebrity break-ups
Thee Pluto’s advice comes at a time when netizens are all too familiar with bitter altercations from some Kenyan celebrity couples who choose to air their dirty laundry publicly after breakups.
Apart from Mulamwah and Ruth K, netizens on Monday, June 16, 2025, witnessed yet another online drama when digital creator Koku Lwanga announced the end of her marriage to actor and media personality Martin Githinji, widely known as Daddie Marto.
