Why does Otiende Amollo oppose ‘with Lagat’s withdrawal?

“I read a statement on June 16, 2025 by Dig Eliud Lagat, where he says he has voluntarily withdraws. There is no such thing as legal separation,” Amollo said.

“I invite you to look at the National Police Service Act, look at section 17, we look at section 95A. In accordance with section 17, the President can remove DIG, he can clean up DIG or send DIG again. None of those can be done by DIG itself, in accordance with section 95A, the disciplinary order can only be done by you. Otiende said.
Was Albert Ojwang ‘kidnapped or was arrested?
The MP opposed the narratives submitted by the police, saying that Ojwang’s death was not due to legitimate arrest, but the illegal kidnapping.
“If you refer to the questions asked before the arrest you had to be told why you were arrested, in accordance with section 49, not being arrested, this was a kidnapping, and using the word ‘catch’ as used by the chair is wrong,” he added.
