The Daily Mail reported that Cheryl Thomasgood, 65 and who lived in Isle of Wight, left her husband and three of their children to marry a charming Kisamburu man named Daniel Lakimencho, who was living in Manyatta.

The two met Cheryl when he came to vacation at the Bamburi Beach Hotel in Mombasa, where Lakimencho was part of a cultural group performing tourists.

However, things changed when they reached the UK. Lakimencho, formerly a spiritual and simple person, began to have a desire for money, wealth, and send money home.
