Following the death of Albert Ojwang ‘in the hands of police, Eric Omondi, a former comedian who turned out to be an activist, made a strong statement against Kenya’s political leadership.
He posted a heavy message wearing a t -shirt of the prisoners’ lines and having raised one hand that was tied in one handle, a sign of leaving himself from a dictatorship.
In his message, Eric announced the commencement of the new Kenyan era, comparing the current national status to the pain of childbirth before the baby was born.
He blamed the leaders for corruption, ethnicity, and cruelty, and demanded that they end their terms and leave power.
The courageous message was well received by many Kenyans, who praised him for his courage and even advised him to run for political seat in 2027, to help lead the nation towards true change and accountability.
