Nairobi: Advocate Danstan Omari He has confirmed that he will represent the OCS of the Nairobi Police Station Samson Talam in court.

According to the Independent Police Managing Authority (IPOA), Talam was arrested on Friday, June 13, in connection with the murder of blogger Albert Ojwang ‘.
Was OCs Talam arrested Eldoret?
Speaking to reporters, Omari denied reports that Talam was arrested while Eldoret.
Omari said that Talam presented himself to the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) following a statement by Mohammed Amin in parliament that the OCS was a man involved in Ojwang’s murder.
“I’m at the Lang’ata police station, you see. I came to visit my client. Rumors spread that Talam was arrested in Eldoret. It is not true. DCI” Omari said.
The city attorney went on to say that following a Talam visit to a DCI officer, detectives were ordered to hand him over to IPOA.

Omari added that Talam and his lawyer recorded his statement before being brought to the Lang’ata police station where he is currently being held.
“When Talam arrived here, a dispute broke out about who should detain him. DCI officers could not keep him because they are not investigators. He said.
The lawyer said it was until the Assistant Director of Investigations at IPO, Abdirahman Jibril, when he intervened in contact with Lang’ata OCS that Talam was released.
According to Omari, Jibril’s measures raised legal and constitutional concerns about the issue. He said they were going to bring the matter to court.

Why did DCI want Talam to be considered a suspect?
Speaking in parliament, DCI chief Amin claimed that how Talam dealt with the matter made him look like a man in the Ojwang massacre.
Amin further told Kenyans to treat Talam’s disclosure about the killing of Ojwang with less salt. Initially Talam denied involvement in the death of the blogger.
Talam had been involved with IPOA that Ojwang was taken to the police station when he lost consciousness, which sparked the idea of rushing him to the hospital.
