The midfielder, identified by the name of Anjeline Kanyi suffered a knife -stroke injury, a right hand in the morning on Thursday morning, June 12.

Information circulated by Kameme TV said that an unknown person is believed to have entered his house and hid before bed.

The victim was rushed to Kirwara Level Four Hospital but was confirmed that he died when he arrived.

Police have begun a search to find the suspect as an investigation into the incident is underway.

The Murang’a businessman, Nduati Macharia, said the men raided his house pretending to be Kenyan tax authorities who accused him of avoiding paying taxes and trying to take him.

“When they invaded the house they found my wife, my son and my employee and asked for me, and then I saw one beating my son, I couldn’t bear it and I went to look at who he was,” he relates.
