Clement Mutai Bishoff, who is eligible to represent Kenya, found the back of the net as Denmark beat Ukraine at the ongoing 2025 U21 Euros.
Harambee Stars-eligible forward Clement Bischoff found the net and impressed scouts once again as Denmark U21 staged a dramatic comeback to beat Ukraine U21 3-2 in a pulsating UEFA U21 European Championship encounter.
The 19-year-old, who has recently been linked with a move to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers, scored Denmark’s first goal as the Danes overturned a first-half deficit in an action-packed second period.
Ukraine opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Nazar Voloshyn, who tapped home from close range after a pinpoint cross by Oleh Ocheretko.
Nigeria remain Africa’s top women’s team, holding steady in global rankings after a recent friendly win over Cameroon.
Despite Denmark’s efforts, the hosts went into the break trailing 1-0.
The second half, however, sparked into life in the 62nd minute when Bischoff latched onto a loose ball in the box and fired a powerful right-footed shot into the top center of the net to make it 1-1.
But Ukraine were quick to respond. Maksym Braharu restored their lead just 16 minutes later with a long-range effort that beat the Danish keeper at the bottom right corner. Ocheretko was again the provider.

Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy has explained reasons behind his team’s victory over Chad and what gives him high hopes for a great performance during CHAN 2024.
Denmark showed resilience, and within minutes, they were back on level terms. William Bøving equalized in the 81st minute with a stunning strike from outside the box, assisted by William Osula.
Just three minutes later, Osula turned scorer, poking in from close range after a clever assist by Thomas Jørgensen. The goal was briefly reviewed by VAR before being confirmed, sealing a memorable 3-2 victory for Denmark.
Bischoff’s performance will no doubt add to growing speculation about his future, with Wolves among the clubs reportedly monitoring his development.
Denmark’s win puts them in a strong position heading into the next phase of the tournament, while Ukraine will be left to rue their inability to hold onto the lead.
