MP Nakuru West Samuel Arama sparked a conversation after a video spread to capture the money attended the conference organized by Ruto.
The meeting was based on a security situation in Nakuru County, which brought together officials from the area to address the deterioration of security and allegations of police misconduct.

Ruto addressed the matter during the meeting, saying that law enforcement agencies must take action in accordance with the constitutional boundaries.
“The national police service must confidently fulfill its constitutional role of protecting Kenyans and their property against criminals, whether they are civil or uniform,” he said in a post shared on his social networking pages.
He also called on the Independent Authority to manage the Police (IPOA) to take immediate action in dealing with cases relating to police violence.
“IPOA must also be more careful in rapidly dealing with criminals in rows,” Ruto added.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika led members of the county, including trade minister Lee Kinyanjui.
The leaders discussed the development of the area and key areas that need the support of the national government.
In a statement disseminated after the meeting, Kihika noted that the President promised to speed up a number of projects that would benefit Nakuru residents.
“I am glad that the president volunteered to start dividing the Rorni -Mau Summit this August this August,” he said.
He further announced that Kenyan security forces would be sent to complete the ongoing tasks in the Afraha and Olenguruone stadiums, as well as the Trauma Center in Nakuru PGH.
Other projects include work recovery at Lanet Airport, accelerating the stuck Itare Dam, and support for the establishment of a specific economic zone in Pipeline, Nakuru.
