In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, his father, Ernest Maiyo, narrated a series of events.

Maiyo said he was phoned by the institute telling him that his son was sick and sent to the clinic. Just 20 minutes later, he was informed about Seurei’s death.

“I wanted the institution to wait for me in the mortuary, but they were not there,” He said.

Seurei, a father of two, was discovered near a water pipe, with water. He was rushed to a dispensary but, due to his condition, he was referred to go to the regional hospital Nakuru.

What killed Seurei Vince?

Nakuru PGH doctors, where he was later evacuated and announced that he had died when he arrived, it is said that they found chemical cells in his stomach after his death.

According to Maiyo, the medical team confirmed that the seurei kidneys were unsuccessful, his liver was damaged due to his longing.

“He was complaining of being poisoned, but when he was sent to PGH, they realized that the kidney had failed. The liver was damaged, and the lungs were tired,” He explained.

Maiyo revealed that on the day of his death, his son expressed concern about a fellow resident of the hostel, allegedly demanding that he leave the room together due to his alleged misconduct. Seurei had shared the hostel with four other students.

In particular, Seurei published the social network on June 7, openly referring to his suspect and accusing him of poisoning him with “rice.”

“He poisoned me with ‘rice’ with his friends,” The post was partially read.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether Seurei personally wrote the post.

What were the last conversation of Maiyo and Seurei Vince?

The sad father explained that he spoke to his son last time on Wednesday, June 4, when he used KSh 3,000 for the next exams scheduled for Monday, June 9.

Seurei Vince died after being suspected of being poisoned by a colleague.

Seurei was supposed to be at the campus for a month, gaining extra knowledge as he prepared to study for a master’s degree in the UK, which his father had already paid for KSh 1.2 million.

“He was supposed to join the University of England in August. Said Maiyo.

Meanwhile, Vince graduated with a degree in computer science from Kabianga University in 2022, marking an important step before his British postgraduate studies.

Police have arrested a chief suspect, while other Seurei colleagues recorded reports of investigations.

Maiyo called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to speed up the investigation and ensure justice is done.

Seurei’s body has been transferred to the mortuary of the corpse of Eldoret Racecourse. Samples for corpses have been collected and transported to Nairobi for further analysis.

In another sad case, a family in Homa Bay mourns the death of their 31 -year -old son Albert Ojwang ‘, who died at a Nairobi police station in Nairobi.
