Videos showed a group of people shouting at the MP, accusing him of pursuing personal and political interests following the death of the young man which has sparked controversy

A later corpse test showed that Ojwang died of multiple injuries, including head and neck injuries, which contradicts police allegations that he had injured himself to death

The politician had visited the move to see the body of the late Albert Ojwang, a prominent influencer and a teacher who died in a chaotic situation in the hands of the police.

Bensuda had arrived in Mochari with the intention of showing solidarity and speaking with the media following Ojwang’s death, which has sparked a lot of anger to the public.

However, his appearance encountered violence from mourners and activists who accused him of giving the event a political image.

According to videos seen by TUKO.co.ke, the crowd shouted to the MP, demanding that he leave the area.

“We don’t want to be talked about by politicians, you go!” The crowd was heard saying.

Why was Bensuda expelled from the City Captains?

Tension escalated when Bensuda was seen holding her father Ojwang’s hand, trying to direct him to a better place to hold a meeting with the media.

The act angered the mourners, some of them warning the bereaved father not to cooperate with politicians accused of using the tragedy in their own interests.

The crowd also expressed dissatisfaction with the emerging political direction between the ODM leader Raila Odinga and President William Ruto under the Broad-Based Government.

Other protesters asked Bensuda to submit their message to Raila, which he promised to implement.

“Justice must be done. The president said he would put an end to police violence and arbitrary killings. We want him to fulfill that promise. I will look for Raila and give him a message about the united government,” Bensuda told them after being removed from the mocked.

Despite the violence, Bensuda briefly addressed a small group that followed him out of Mochari.

He expressed his sadness over Ojwang’s death and complained about the lack of other leaders in the incident.

“It’s a great bitterness. I came alone as a special MP because I can’t keep quiet. MEETS MUST BE TAKEN,” He said.

What killed Albert Ojwang?

In a surprising direction, a corpse investigation conducted a few days after police claimed that Ojwang injured himself to death as a cell, has raised serious concerns.

Dead surgeon Bernard Media, in charge of the examination, confirmed that Ojwang suffered many injuries, Including the scalp and neck symptoms being overwhelmed – obvious signs of oppression.

He also denied the boy’s possibility to knock on the wall regularly, as claimed by police earlier.

These findings appear to oppose the official police statement, increasing the call for accountability and justice from the public.

Media added that further laboratory studies are ongoing, where tissue samples have been taken to provide a detailed conclusion about the source and circumstances of the death.
