David Warui, a priest in the church, reported that the thieves invaded the church’s office and stole five bottles of wine.

He referred to the incident as strange and prayed for the criminals to change their behavior while noting that stealing in the house of God was a mistake and offended the Lord.
In addition, the robbers allegedly detained the church’s guard, leaving him restrained inside the building for several hours before being saved.
“They also took a laptop and other small things in the church before continuing to steal money and wine from the pasta office,” Cyrus Njue, the party said.
Njue added that the suspects even took a bottle containing the guard’s tea.
The thieves raided the Kirinyaga church and stole KSh 700,000 worth of items.

Another believer, Rose Kabue, expressed disbelief in the incident.
“I have never heard of such an event, I asked God to protect us, as this was not a good sign, and the suspects are welcoming a curse to their households,” He said.

Thieves steal KSh 300k equipment from the Kirinyaga church
Other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that bandits invaded the Anglican Church in Gichugu, Kirinyaga and escaped with equipment after Sunday worship.
One believer reported that the suspects took the speakers, cables, combining sounds and locks worth Ksh 300,000.
A Gichugu resident who lives near the church informed them of the incident and one of the church elders noted that this was not a special story.
The elder added that another ACK -linked church in the area has also been destroyed and stolen valuable property.
