Just hours after music commentator Sabato, popularly known as Sauti Ya Ground, went viral following the resurfacing of an old video of him performing before he had quit music, dancehall artiste KRG The Don has come out guns blazing with a challenge to his fans.
Taking to his Instagram stories on Thursday, June 5, 2025, KRG said he was offering a handsome Ksh100,000 to anyone who could successfully capture and deliver a clear photograph of Sabato’s head without his trademark cap.
“I am offering Ksh100,000 to anyone who can get me a photo of Sabato’s head without a cap because, honestly,” KRG wrote.
He added that he was offering the money because he was in a good mood and felt generous, adding that he wanted people to see what the music commentator looks like without his signature snapbacks.
“I feel so generous today. I just want the world to see the shape of that head,” KRG added.

Sabato, who stepped away from the music scene nearly six years ago, has been trending since Wednesday, June 4, 2025, after a video resurfaced showing him performing a self-penned song during a live show on a local television station.
The whole viral moment also came hot on the heels of his recent online jabs directed at KRG, where he claimed that the latter bowed out of music after taking a recent piece of advice he had offered.
Sabato had also claimed that KRG had been bombarding him with phone calls, pleading for collaboration while tearing into him with extremely harsh words.
“I advised KRG, and he stepped away from music. Even now, KRG still rings me, saying, “Sabato wa Hewa, you really helped me’,” Sabato had said in a TikTok video.
Gifted vocalist
Sabato had then gone on to boast that he was a remarkably gifted vocalist who had been receiving a stream of requests for collaborations from heavyweights like Khaligraph Jones and Femi One.
He had also criticised Kenyan artistes, saying that they fail to understand where to draw the line because he is not a full-time singer as such.
“My point is that I have seen artistes messaging me asking for collaborations — Femi One asked, and when I turned her down, she began speaking badly; OG Kanono has already started using my sound, and that right there is what Kenyan artistes have not mastered. I myself am not an artiste,” he said.
However, Sabato had also insisted that he can only consider doing a collaboration with singer Six Pack while claiming that their project will be dropping in the next few weeks.
“That is not even my point — the music I was putting out back then was timeless. The only person I can give a collaboration to is Six Pack, with whom we have been in constant talks. People will still say it is madness, so expect that collaboration,” he added.
