These come as questions continue to arise about whether the whole event was politically organized.
Military Court Judge Caroline Nyaguthii Mugo on Friday, May 30, decided that the prosecution failed to present the underlying reasons to continue to arrest the suspects, despite the seriousness of the charges.
The four, Kanyenyaini Ward Ward Grace Nduta Waimu, CDF Chairman of Juja State Peter Kowatu Mbaru, David Macharia Gatana, and Cyrus Kieru Muhia, were released for a Ksh1 million bond by a trustee of the same amount, or the cash guarantee Ksh300,000.
“The court cannot ignore the fact that the charges may face the complainants are serious, and there is a need to make sure the investigation is not interrupted,” Judge Mugo noted.
He also imposed complicated bail conditions, including that the four would be prevented from contacting any witnesses, including Koimburi, directly or indirectly through other people.
We must also report to the Chief Investigator, Inspector General Nicholas Njoroge of the Assistance Unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Headquarters, once a week or whenever they are called.

What is DCI’s claim in Koimburi’s kidnapping
DCI It had sought to detain the suspects for 15 more days, saying that Koimburi had not yet registered a formal statement and his health condition made it difficult to get the necessary information.
Inspector Njoroge told the court that the alleged kidnapping, which occurred on Sunday, May 25, outside the Full Gospel Ebenezer church in Mugutha, appeared to be organized and may have been planned “with the intention of murder” or to distort the law.
He cited a lack of transparency about Koimburi’s intention, adding that the MP had previously avoided arrest during a public event and since then he remained difficult.
“The allegations are serious, involving a sitting MP, and the reason for the alleged kidnapping is still unknown,” Njoroge said.
What were the cases not compatible in the allegations of Koimburi’s abduction
According to police documents, a report on Koimburi’s disappearance was submitted by Kiratu at the Mugutha Police Station.
He claimed the MP was taken by two people who covered their faces in a Subaru Forester car shortly after a church service.
CCTV photos and witnesses confirmed the vehicle used was a black Subaru registered as KDG 803B, which police say belongs to the third defendant, Cyrus Kieru.
But what is more shocking is the DCI disclosure that the MP appeared one night before allegations of kidnapping in a popular entertainment area in Kiganjo, South Gatundu with Nduta.
This contradicts his previous statement that he was Kangema attending church and political events.
Did Koimburi kidnappers torture him
Following hospitalization, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua He alleged that Koimburi was kidnapped and tortured by experts, claiming responsibility for police.
Gachagua said that doctors confirmed that Koimburi suffered soft tissue injuries and had been a chemical injury that weakened his speech.
He mentioned that Koimburi, could not speak, he contacted it in writing, indicating that the chemical had affected his vocal fibers.
