Ababu’s family was saddened following the death of their reliable guard.
Her boyfriend, Amy Lucia, shared a heartbreak message after being informed about the death of the assistant.
He remembered the close relationship he had with the children and how he phoned him a week before his death.
He assured him that he would recover and return to work. Wrote:
“Words can’t fully describe the sadness we feel. You never became a close assistant. Rotich, it was a family. You protected us and the children with great care, and they loved you so much. You were hopeful, full of life.
Lucia thanked her for her dedication to the family and said they would miss her.
“Thank you for your dedication, for your silent power, and for your good spirit. We will miss you very much, but your inheritance will live in our hearts and in the stories we will continue to tell about the unique person you have been,” he added.
Former Minister, Ababu Nimwamba, referred to the deceased as a loved brother and a true friend filled with trust.
He remembered how they traveled to the world as well as raising children for 18 years of service.

The former minister revealed that the deceased was facing several health challenges, and would be buried on June 3.
