It is said that the pastor lost his life on Saturday, May 24, when he appeared in Benue, about 330 kilometers south of the capital Abuja, heading to his home in Kaduna.
According to a statement from the Blueprint magazine, Azzaman, a senior pastor at the Kings Worship Chapel and Ministry church, was returning home from the gospel conference.
The church’s statement stated that the driver of his car was trying to avoid holes and they collided with another car coming forward. The car hit the front of the passenger, where Pastor Azzaman was sitting.
The church also denied any allegations of a dirty game or a week in the crash, saying that the pastor suffered serious injuries that led to his death.
It emphasized that the main impact of the accident was on the passenger side, where the pastor was sitting.

This time, Internet users have released a Facebook post in January 2025 in which Azzaman wrote about the prophecy of a car accident that would occur during one of his mission trips.
In that post he wrote:
“One pastor phoned me and told me that he had seen an accident in one of my mission trips. He told me to pray against the spirit of death by accident.”
He continued to pray against the prophecy, saying that in the grace of God he would not die as foretold.

The deaths of two Catholic priests
In other news, Kenyans have been mourning the deaths of two Catholic priests killed in different contexts within the past two weeks.
Dr. John Maina from Nyahururu was tracked and attacked by bandits who had seriously injured him for what they allegedly wanted the money he received from politicians who visited his church.
Patriarch allis was killed a few days ago in Elgeyo Marakwet. Six suspects are being held in connection with the killings.
