MP George Koimburi allegedly kidnapped outside the church at 48 hours after he was hiding

• Juja MP George Koimburi was reportedly kidnapped by unknown people outside the Full Gospel church in Mugutha
• Kiambu Senator Karungo of Thang’wa claimed a conspiracy to arrest Koimburi, a ally of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, allegedly started last week
• Koimburi’s wife was injured while attempting to stop the kidnapping and removal of force by security officers

Kiambu – Juja MP, George Koimburi, has been kidnapped by unknown people a few hours after he was reported to be lost.

Through a message on X network on Sunday, May 25, Kiambu Karungo Senator Karungo of Thang’wa revealed that people believed to be police abducted the Juja MP outside the Full Gospel church in Mugutha.

Thang’wa claimed that the plan to arrest Koimburi, who is a close ally of the former deputy president Rigathi Gachaguayou have been planning since last week.

“Juja MP George Koimburi has been kidnapped by Subaru men. Said Thang’wa.

The Kiambu senator claimed that Koimburi’s wife, Mama Shiru, was injured when she tried to prevent her husband from being taken over by the armed men.

“Not even the cries of believers could prevent it DCI. And worse – his wife Shiru has been injured. She was forcefully removed from Subaru’s car after insisting that she be arrested with her husband, ” Said the senator.
