Through social networks on Thursday, May 22, Governor Hillary Barchok expressed his sadness following the shocking death of the senior official.

“I am shocked and saddened by reports of the sudden death of our Chief Financial Officer, CPA Erick Chepkwony. Said Governor Barkok.

The governor said that the tragedy had touched him further because he spent time with Chepkwony the day before his death, and he seemed to be in good health.

He gave condolences to the family and all those who knew Chepkwony, asking God to give them strength in this difficult time.

“This tragedy has hurt us a lot, especially if we remember how happy he was and life yesterday. We stand with his family in this time of great sadness, and we promise to support them in every situation,” added Barkok.
