Speaking in an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday evening, May 20, Mudavadi responded to a mediation statement complaining of a lack of respect among Kenyans, especially in the way they express themselves.

The foreign minister said the leader of Tanzania He was not entirely wrong in his views.

“I think there is some truth,” Mudavadi said. “Let’s accept the truth. The level of courtesy, the rate of insults that sometimes seems to spread in Kenya, is much over.

Mudavadi, who is also the Prime Minister of the Cabinet, noted that Kenyan culture of independence often leads to non -civilized pronunciation, especially in political and social debates.

“I am also a Kenyan,” He continued. “And the fact is, our way of expression and our statements, because we have the freedom to say, sometimes they lack high morals.”

Did Kenyans make statements that upset Tanzanian leaders?

Despite agreeing with the general argument, Mudavadi said he could not immediately confirm whether any Kenyan citizens made statements or steps that may have angered the Tanzanian government.

“He said he was not happy because he is investigating what we do here. I will need more time to find out more about their activities because there are events that have occurred. So, we will investigate and find the truth,” Mudavadi said.

He also explained that the mediation’s statements may not have focused on individuals but were a general perspective on the conduct of Kenyans, especially on social networks.

“If it is a general view, I think he has an argument,” he added.

A solution recently sparked a national debate after expressing his dissatisfaction with what he called contemptuous statements and improper behavior from some Kenyans.

He complained that some people had begun to cross into Tanzania, allegedly trying to disseminate those behaviors and disturb the country’s stability.
