Why did the Nakuru residents carry the coffin with their hands?

According to residents, the state of the branching road has been severely damaged due to heavy rains in the area, which is near the main water source in the country, the Mau forest.

Gilbert Kiprotich, one of the residents, told TUKO.co.ke That the road connecting the Wecheko station to the Kaprengerwo station is impassable and filled with mud.

“We had to go through footpaths, fences and fields to find a short path to reduce fatigue for those carrying a coffin,” Said Kiprotich.

“Farmers here are having trouble transporting tea leaves because some factory cars can’t get to the end of the road, and so we carry a load,” Said Rono.

Residents now want the county government Nakuru Take immediate steps to ensure that the road has a good drainage system.
