Nairobi: A man who made himself a police officer in Kayole was arrested

The suspect, identified as Daniel Mori Mohere, was arrested on Monday, May 19, following an operation based on the basic intelligence information.

According to a police report, the operation was implemented by special forces of Njiru Sierra One and Kayole 5 in the meat areas Villa Soweto and UNITED THREE -Water.

Officers also arrested Daniel’s allies, including 59 -year -old Julius Marwa Chacha, and 27 -year -old Caroline Mweni Nzomo.

Additionally, in the search of the suspect’s house, the officers found various police attire.

“During the operation, various police uniforms and government equipment were found. The suspects are now detained pending in court, and a list of items found has been prepared and stored as evidence,” It reads part of the police report.

The incident sparked a heated debate online, with Kenyans coming out of fun, critical and reflective views on the issue and the state of government management as a whole.
