How did Dr. John Maina die?
According to reports, the Patriarch of the Catholic Church who served in Nyandarua was killed three weeks after he was hosted by the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua On one occasion.
The priest from the Igwamiti Catholic parish is reportedly kidnapped and attacked by a dull device.
His body was found thrown along the road in the Kopey area, Gilgil, about 50 kilometers from the parish he was serving.
Maina is reportedly dying while receiving treatment at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Gilgil.
When did Rigathi Gachagua and John Ndegwa meet?
Rigathi Gachagua was among the guests at the 25th anniversary of St. Louis – Igwamiti.
TUKO.co.ke conducted a search and found pictures of the event, some showing Patriarch John Maina happy when he welcomed the leaders to his parish.
Gachagua described how the ritual was, and added that he was surrounded by the warmth of social love and faith.

Kenyans mourn John Maina’s death as an investigation is being launched
