After sitting in the hands of the police weekend, Salasya warned Ruto against the abuse of authority while promising to hand over peace if he wins the presidency 2027.

Speaking publicly for the first time since his arrest on Friday, May 16, Salasya described what he described as a terrible story involving armed people who identified themselves as Criminal Investigations Officers (DCI).

The MP claimed that the group had fired his caravan, confiscated his bodyguards, and even shot his car.

He said the officers who took him seemed to be unaware of the exact reasons for his arrest, thus provoking the impression that government machinery was armed to undermine his political goal.

“Of course when I asked those people why they arrest me they were not happy even if they didn’t know they were coming to arrest me, so I think the police officers should not be used, we know today we are being abused, I should not be missed by the way they did because I have announced the intention to run for the presidency,” He complained.
