“When I was pregnant, my stomach was so big that I thought I had a twin. But my mother told me sometimes the pregnancy was just big.
“I didn’t stop the clinic. I don’t know if they thought I was going to stay there for a long time. I came back once because I was tired. When I got home, my mother’s clothes were down, and she had wrapped myself. My husband had just underwear,” Muthoni narrated.
