The former attorney general has called on the president to resign immediately, accusing him of defeating Kenyans for constant integrity and not complying with constitutional values.
Why is Ruto resigning
In a heated interview on Spice FM on Thursday, May 15, Muturi, an experienced politician and former Speaker of the National Assembly, tore the government Kenya first.
Muturi claimed that Ruto He betrayed the faith of the millions of Kenyans who voted for him in 2022.
The criticism comes just a few months after Muturi was shown a door from the cabinet, a step that is seen by many as removing conflicting sounds within the leading regime.
While he seemed to be uncomfortable in his position, Muturi did not murmur while accusing Ruto of surrounding himself with masks while ignoring the misery and voices of ordinary Kenyans.
According to Muturi, the president’s statements have often been contrary to reality, which has led him to conclude that the head of state is no longer in the position of holding the highest position in the country.
“I would advise William Ruto to do something respectful, please Mr President, to resign.
It is annoying, and I hope he listens, but for Luck Worse, he has decided to surrender with praise singers, quote poets and jokes, so I don’t think he hears. But my advice to him, as a parting step, Mr President, please do something decent, resign today, ” Muturi said.
Why do Kenyan MPs control Ruto
Muturi focused on issues of constitutional importance, pointing to recent kidnapping cases and allegations of government participation.
He claimed that for failing to take concrete action against the people involved in the illegal activities despite suggesting their return, Ruto had violated the constitution and lost moral authority.

The current opposition politician questioned how kidnapped people could be reinstated, suggesting that not taking action against the President could signal more involvement.
“There is no reason why Parliament should not exercise its authority under section 145 and establish cases to sue the President. By his acceptance, individuals have been kidnapped and later reinstated. This is a clear violation of the Constitution. He asked.
Why is Muturi arrested
Elsewhere, Internal Security Minister Kipchumba Murkomen has called for an investigation into Muturi on allegations of misappropriation of government documents.
Murkomen accused Muturi of storing sensitive government documents in his personal email, which he described as a violation of confidential protocols.
He called on investigative agencies, including the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the Ethics and Anti -Corruption Commission (EACC), and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), to investigate Muturi’s actions, suggesting that the behavior could be criminal in other areas.
However, in response, Muturi claimed Murkomen “Still young and passionate about power”.
According to the former attorney general, there is no law prohibiting the Cabinet Secretary or any government official to expose corruption and poor government contracts.
He held that he had no apologies for the remarks he made regarding corruption and fraud in the Ruto government, saying it was all true.
