This follows a tragic incident in which the bees attacked Caleb Boit, 31, when he returned home from church on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
The family stated that the teenager died while receiving treatment at Nakuru County Training and Appeal Hospital, where he was lying in the intensive care unit (ICU) after being attacked by a bee group.
According to the family, Boit, who was an engineer at the Community Telecommunications Limited (JTL), was prepared for a later life before his sudden death.
“He was a very young boy. He wasn’t married yet, but he had those plans, and now he couldn’t fulfill his dreams,Said his uncle, Wesley Bett.

CCTV photos from the neighboring building showed him the deceased trying to chase the bees that were in the body and face before he began to be overwhelmed.
His uncle explained that body surgery showed he was bitten by bees and bees in various parts of the body, even in the eyelids, which caused inflammation in the lungs.
“Caleb died from the poison of bees that suffered badly. The uncle told reporters on Wednesday, May 14.
The surgery also showed the boy suffered a shock of epilepsy several times, a condition that disrupted blood supply in the body and the brain.
Silas Sikulu, a colleague at work in the telecommunications community, said the deceased was a hard worker and had found many customers for the company.
Sunulu explained that when Caleb was attacked, he had no way of helping himself and the good Samaritans found him unaware and rushed him to the hospital.
“We found Caleb in the ICU; we couldn’t talk to him or get a word from him until Monday evening when he left the world in pain,” He said.
Community Telecommunications Manager in the West Region, Wilson Setim, said the death had deprived the valuable employee.

Nakuru County Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. Michael Cheruiyot, said they had sent their officers to remove the beehives in the area to avoid further harm.
“We received a statement on Monday about the incident, contacted the plot owner and planned to remove the bees,” Cheruiyot told TUKO.co.ke.
The family took the body of their loved one for a funeral at their home in Kericho County.
