Kenyans on social networks have expressed their sadness and sadness following the sad deaths of Sheila Mokaya and her son, who are allegedly killed by her boyfriend, an army officer (GSU), on Sunday, May 11.

Neighbors reported hearing four gunshots earlier that morning after a family dispute occurred on Saturday evening.

When the police arrived at the scene, they found the bodies of Sheila, her son, and the officer of Gsu Inside their rented home.

Sheila was a teacher at Mukunguni Junior Primary School, Lamu Central, where she worked for almost two years.

Kenyans mourn the mother and baby killed in Lamu

After pictures of the woman and her baby circulated online, Kenyans did not hide their grief and sent condolences to the family.

Many mourners condemned the act, while others described the risk of unresolved mental health problems.

In a separate incident, a Kenyan Defense Force (KDF) officer from the area of Embakasi He was arrested on suspicion of killing his girlfriend, Phoebe Kaele, who was also a KDF officer from Garissa.

The controversy started after Kaele found another woman’s shoes at her boyfriend’s home, which led to intense controversy.

It is alleged that the officer stabbed him in the neck, causing his death.

The officer and another woman present were arrested by police.

These incidents have raised serious concerns about the increase in domestic violence and mental health challenges, especially among security officials.
