What happened at Edward Kwach’s funeral?
On Saturday, May 10, the funeral was attended by hundreds of mourners and politicians.
ODM party leader Raila Odinga And Kisumu governor Anyang ‘Nyongo’o were among the leaders who came to give him a hug.
Nyong’o narrated his long relationship with the father of the fallen radio broadcaster, retired Judge Richard Otieno Kwach.
“Richard was a senior in front of me at Alliance High School.”
The politician said that before joining a prestigious school, the retired judge was the head of student at Maseno High School.
“We heard praise for him, that he was smart, a good and better. My brother and I went to meet him. However, we found out he was secretive, and we met him along the way.
We were surprised and followed him to the high school, he loved him. “
Dorothy Nyong’o told the mourning family that:
“We cannot imagine the pain you are going through. May God give you the grace, comfort and peace you need. God bless you.”
The county boss then invited Raila to talk to the mourners.
“I came as a friend. I would like to apologize for the delay. I bring condolences from the governor of Siaya County James Orengowho is abroad. ”
Raila revealed that he had a long and senior history.
“Richard and I have a long history. He has been my friend for a long time and he was even my lawyer.”
The former Prime Minister said that Edward was close to his family.
“He was a close friend of my late son Fidel. They would walk and come to our house together. He became part of our family. I would like to say sorry.

Raila expressed bitterness by seeing a young man die, and parents bury their children.
“It is said that we are treating diseases, not death. The boy born yesterday leaves us behind, but that is the will of God.”
The basket was opened for mourners to look at the body before it was reduced to a resting place.

Who is Edward Kwach?
Kwach was a great man in the Kenyan court, known for his strong mind, the presence of a courtroom, and a historic decision.

He emerged national popularity in 1986 after successfully arguing at SM Otieno’s funeral case, changing speech on customary laws against the law.
Even after retirement in 2003, Kwach remained influenced in legal circles, to address high -level cases and to participate in major national investigations.
