This is happening following allegations that he consulted with the deceased about the purchase of 5,800 acres in South Narok.

Moses Kipkirui Cheluget, the son of the late Cheluget, has opposed the recent statements of the President, insisting that his father passed away in 2017, making any such talks impossible.

The family has also raised concerns about the legitimacy of the talks, questioning who exactly represents them in talks with the government.

Ruto talk with ‘cheluget’

The controversy erupted after Ruto, during a development visit to Narok County, to address residents at Sogoo’s business center.

He said that he involved the late Cheluuget in a discussion before agreeing to buy the land for a new squirrels.

“I understand we have two great things that your legislators and leaders have explained to me, one of which is Cheluget land that has brought us problems for many years, now let me tell you about Cheluget land we have talked to Cheluget, we stayed together and agreed that the government would buy the land, if we bought it, those who live now will continue to live there,” He said.

However, Kipkirui has dismissed the president’s statement saying it was misleading, given that his father had died for seven years.

Kipkirui’s request for Ruto is

Kipkirui has accused the government of engaging in private activities with people claiming to represent the Cheluget family while excluding legitimate heirs.

He revealed that the family was still in a court dispute over the inheritance and ownership of the land, and no supervisor was appointed to oversee its allocation.

“When the president came recently, he spoke to the people and said he spoke to our father, who died seven years ago. But my father is dead. And the other issue he has told him is that he has been talking to ‘our family’, but he has talked to only a few people, only half of the family, and some have not received any reports. We do not even know who he is discussing in this family,” Kirui said.

He further questioned the validity of any land payments, demanding clarification on who would receive the money.

Kipkirui emphasized that until the court appointed the administrator, no legitimate activity could occur.

“We have already gone to court on the issue of inheritance to find out who will be signed and who will oversee the allocation of land, together, as a family. From where I am, it seems unbelievable because we as a family have not received any reports, and we do not know who is talking to the President. We do not know,” He said.

The family emphasized that squirrels who own the land should now remain until the court decides the case.

Did Ruto cheat on saying he talked to Linturi about giving him a job

Another news, former Minister of Agriculture Mithika Linturi denied President Ruto’s claim that they had been in constant contact.

Linturi said the statement was untrue and stated that their last talks took place on December 10 during a meeting with the bishops in Meru.

He also made it clear that he was not interested in returning to his previous position. Linturi said that he did not need the President’s help to get a job.
