Kasipul’s killed MP, Charles Ong’ongo Were, may have been feeling about his safety when facing his last days.

Were was shot and killed on Ngong Road in Nairobi on April 30.
His killer who was traveling on a motorcycle followed him from parliament buildings to the scene where he shot him.
The MP, who may have been aware that he was on the radar of his political opponents, was determined to avoid their trap in any way.
For example, the car he was shot in was not his official, but decided to use it suddenly to avoid enemies who knew his common car.
Were was shot in a Toyota Crown car, which is believed to be his son.
It has also been noted that the MP was planning to move from his Karen residence to another place.
People Daily reports that Were had shared some of his colleagues to leave his Nairobi house and move to the safest place.
He was worried that his residence in Karen was on the periphery and thus made it easier for her enemies to attack her.

His killer was photographed by the city’s security cameras following him from he left parliament to the murder area.
The suspect rode a motorcycle but went down when Were’s car stopped at a red light in the City Mortuary circuit.
Meanwhile, a corpse examination showed that his wife lost a lot of blood after being shot.

The Chief State Specialist for Dead Surgery, Dr. Johansen Oduor, described the gunshot wounds that suffered the deceased, including two shooting holes in the left hand, where one bullet remained inside and the other left.
In addition, two bullets entered through the left side of the chest, where one came from the right and the other stuck in the spinal cord.
Another way of shooting appeared on the back, where the bullet entered from the left and remained inside.
Dr. Oduor also noted that the bullets burned vital organs, including the heart, lungs, liver and aorta, causing severe internal damage.
Other suspects arrested aside by Imoli are Juma Ali Haikai, Douglas Muchiri Wambugu, and David Mihigo Kagame.
The four were arrested in the Roysambu area, Nairobi.
Were will be buried on Friday, May 9, at his home in Kachien, Kasipul, in Homa Bay County.
