Nairobi: Intelligence officials have completed the investigation into the murder of Kasipul MP, Charles Ong’ongo Were, following the acquisition of important evidence believed to be linked to the crime.

According to police, two pistols including one suspected of the killings were found on Tuesday night, May 6, during a house invasion in lime, Embakasi East after a strict search for the whole day.
Police revealed that the weapons found would be logically investigated to determine the owner and if they were used in the murder of the MP.
Also found are bags and shoes believed to be worn by the main suspect on the day of the murder.
The officer involved in the investigation described the discovery of the evidence as a major step in the case.
“This is a success because access is important in this case.”
Investigations are still ongoing as detectives continue to link evidence to file a strong case against the chief suspect.
Charles Owino, a former police spokesman, revealed in his Facebook letter that the driver and security guard of the MP who escaped the attack without injury were also detained after reporting in conflict with the incident.
He also noted that the authorities are also searching for other suspects, including a bodaboda and another police officer who is believed to help coordinate the incident using a sim card that has now been turned off registered for fake identity.
